About this Dog
*** COURTESY LISTING *** PLEASE CALL OR E-MAIL THE PERSON LISTED. DO NOT CONTACT WARF AS WE HAVE NO FURTHER INFO. Jodie is a black/lab shepherd mix who's owners need to rehome her as dogs are not allowed in their duplex. They found her about two years ago. She was very skinny but so full of love. They tracked down the owner who did not want Jodie back, so they kept her. It took Jodie about a year to come out of her shell, but now she is the sweetest dog imaginable and the idea of giving her up breaks their hearts, but the landlord is insisting. She is 10-11 years old, fixed, loves other dogs, people and animals (except for outdoor stray cats which she likes to chase - indoor cats are fine). Jodie listens to commands well unless she is in a stubborn mood! She does have some separation anxiety, so would do best in a home with other animals or someone who is home a lot. She does get nervous on car rides. She loves short walks and cuddling. Jodie doesn't bark unless she's asking for something. A home with a dog door would be ideal as she is used to having one. Jodie in an amazing, smart and super relaxed dog who loves with her whole heart! If you are interested in meeting her, please text 775-515-2455.

Adopt Jodie and Receive Jodie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Jodie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Jodie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Jodie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Jodie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jodie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jodie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Jodie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jodie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
