About this Dog
Sadie is approximately 12 or 13 years old and is completely deaf. Unfortuntely, her owner recently was seriously injured and can no longer care for her so we need to find her a new home. She weighs around 12 pounds. She is very sweet and cuddly, loves to hang out on the couch, and snuggles in bed at night throughout the entire night. She can sleep for 10-12 hours at a go. She has never been properly potty trained, and sometimes lets her owner know she needs to go out by rolling over or walking to the door, but is inconsistent. She does not bark when people come to the house. The only time she barks is when she is begging for snacks from her owner's dinner plate! She eats about a can of pate a day. She is a wonderful companion, but her owner is elderly and now injured and feels she can no longer care for her properly. Sadie needs a good place to live out her remaining time. If you can provide that and are interested in meeting her, please fill out an application at www.tahoewarf.org and text 775-846-3773 or 775-338-6631.

Adopt Sadie and Receive Sadie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sadie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Sadie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Sadie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sadie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sadie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sadie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sadie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sadie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
