Meet Mavis! This tiny bundle of Terrier love is just 7 pounds at nearly 3 months old. Don’t let her size fool you. Mavis has a huge heart and a personality to match. Mavis is a social butterfly who adores everyone she meets. She loves her foster family and enjoys playing with her furry foster siblings, big and small. She is a total cuddlebug who thinks personal space is optional. The moment you sit down, she’ll be right next to you or curled up on your lap. Mavis loves toys and chewing on bully sticks. She is full of puppy playfulness, affection, and joy, and she is ready to find a forever family who will love her back just as much. She is doing great with crate training and sleeps peacefully through the night as long as she is close to her people. Potty training is still in progress, and she may have a little accident if she gets nervous when picked up. She is learning quickly and trying her best. Mavis is fully vetted and up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and will be spayed on us at one of our vets when age appropriate. Her adoption donation is $450. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mavis was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mavis’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mavis’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mavis’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
