About this Dog
Meet Chalupa who came into rescue 1/4/24 and is part of the Tortilla Terrier Group! She will be a smaller size dog. She was born on 8/23/23 and weighs 10-15 pounds. Chalupa is your typical rambunctious puppy that just keeps on going and loves to play. She definitely has the terrier-tude and appetite so if you are looking for a sassy pup who will be by your side protecting you look no further. She loves people and getting in lots of snuggles, kisses and playtime. She plays tug and wrestles with the other dogs and loves toys and especially good bones to chew on. Chalupa can be startled easily and will hide or find someone to protect her when scared. She has not been exposed to cats yet. She will need someone with patience that’s willing to work with her on her basic commands and confidence as she gets distracted easily since she really would rather be playing. Since she is a puppy, she will need to be potty trained so you will need to teach her where to go and how to ask until she gets the hang of it. The current foster home has this group in a contained play area during the daytime where they can play. They have a large pee pad down and are working on going outside to potty but sometimes they can’t wait. They have an open kennel in the pen that they use during the daytime to take naps and sleep in at night. If you are looking for an energetic puppy that will need LOTS of attention and patience, Chalupa may be what you are looking for. She needs toys to keep her occupied, maybe a playmate and of course lots of snuggles and kisses from you. Chalupa is microchipped, spayed/neutered, and has received the 2nd of 3 sets of puppy shots. She is fostered in the Omaha area with an adoption fee of $450. If you have the love, time, and patience to watch her blossom into a loyal family member please apply at www.bassetandbeagle.com

Adopt Chalupa and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Chalupa's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Chalupa's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Chalupa, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Chalupa's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Chalupa was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Chalupa’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Chalupa’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Chalupa’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
