About this Cat

The oldest kitty of the group. Ivy has gotten to the stage of her life when she would prefer not to have to deal with the younger kitties. She would love to be the only cat in the house. On the other hand, she loves attention, loves to be petted, to sleep next to you, and just be where you are. She is a little on the chunky side, so some monitoring of her food intake is best. She will make a wonderful addition to her new home. Ivy is an exclusively indoor kitty and has not been kept up to date on shots. She did of course have initial vaccinations and boosters as a youngster. I am more than happy to update her vaccinations prior to adoption, upon request. She is in good health for a senior kitty, is missing a couple teeth and is a little bit on the chubby side. Still playful, but she does like a lot of naps. Breed: domestic short hair Age: 11 years Date of birth: July 2015 Color: gray and cream 'lynx point' (tabby/Siamese mix) Sex: spayed female Weight: 12.5 pounds What's special about me: I am a cuddler and love to be near you and have lots of pets and attention. Likes: having my back scratched, being brushed, long naps, eating lettuce! Dislikes: being bothered by the younger kitties

How will Ivy receive the contribution?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Ivy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Ivy's contribution here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ivy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ivy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Ivy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ivy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
