HI there! My name is Sid. I am a beautiful reminder that love knows no age, and every soul deserves a soft place to land. I was rescued from a hoarding situation and despite everything I have been through I am still a cuddly little guy who loves affection. I am estimated 8-10 years old but it is hard to know for sure because I have no teeth. My lack of teeth makes my little tongue hang out of my mouth! I do need a soft diet due to this. Additionally, I have a hard time on stairs because my depth perception is not the best due to cataracts but I am working on learning the stairs in my foster home. Sid thrives in calm environments and would do best in a loving, patient home that understands the beauty of senior pets. He will steal your heart with his sweet smile and gentle eyes. Dont be suprised to get a nudge or tail wag request for pets. He is mostly deaf but that just lets him sleep soundly. He loves a comfy bed to slumber in. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and JR- Sid was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, JR- Sid’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the JR- Sid’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, JR- Sid’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
