About this Horse
This cute mare is Jazzy! Jazzy was initially adopted when she was just a filly back in 2010. She was returned to Longmeadow at no fault of her own. After her return, Jazzy was evaluated by our trainers. After a quick evaluation, they came to believe that Jazzy had extensive history with groundwork. She was very intelligent and picked up on cues quickly! She has not been started under saddle, so she will require a professional trainer to aid in any future training under saddle. This mare is full of potential! She is very smart, and we believe with her history of groundwork, she could be started and progress in no time! Because Jazzy can be nervous and sensitive at times, we believe she would do best with a strong intermediate to advanced rider and/or handler to help her gain more confidence and continue her training. She is not a suitable horse for a beginner. Jazzy does not need to continue her training for riding. She would be perfectly happy being a pasture companion for your equine.Like many Paso Finos, Jazzy is an extremely easy keeper. Her ideal home will provide her with a dry lot or a `poor pasture lot` to keep her from becoming overweight. If in a larger pasture, she will need a grazing muzzle to limit her fresh grass consumption. We believe Jazzy would make a loyal companion to someone willing to put in that work and effort to gain her trust and make her the best mare she could be. Adoption Fee: $600Height: 14.2hh Maximum Carrying Weight (includes tack and rider): 180lbs

Adopt JAZZY and Receive JAZZY's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, JAZZY's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is JAZZY's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the JAZZY, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming JAZZY's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and JAZZY was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, JAZZY’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the JAZZY’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, JAZZY’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
