About this Dog
Licensed rescue or rehome. 1.5 year old pit mix. Springfield mo
She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and actively taking a monthly dose of simperica trio.
I am rehoming her due to having to move into a rental. And rentals in my area do not accept pits. Also after a recent incident, she has become a physical safety risk to me. I have titanium on my spine and she tripped me with her tie out and i landed flat on my back in my backyard.
She does get along with other dogs. However, she does seem to try to playfully bully smaller dogs (she acts like she's trying to bite the back of my mini aussie's neck).
Im going to say that she is not cat friendly. Only because she keeps chasing mine, to the point where they dont come out of my laundry room when she isnt in her kennel.
Not sure how she is with kids. We've never let her loose around anyone under 19.
Also, we believe that she may have separation anxiety. We havent gotten her officially diagnosed yet. But there have been times that she has chewed stuff up when left alone.
Things she's not fully trained in...or other concerning things...
She can jump a 4 ft chain link fence
She loves to jump on people as her greeting
She pulls hard on a leash.

How will Cherry receive the contribution?

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cherry was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cherry’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Cherry’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cherry’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
