Hi, my name is Swift! I was found in the St. James, Missouri area when I was only one day old. I was entangled with my three siblings by our umbilical cords so tightly our mama was unable to nurse us. Luckily a nice lady found us and took us to a rescue where we were fostered as bottle babies. I am the only boy in the "black bird litter". I am a very confident kitten and I am the first one to run to meet everyone that visits us. I love lots of attention and will cuddle with you as long as you let me. I love to run very fast and I am the best at catching the "birds" on a fishing pole toy. I also love to chase fuzzy balls and will bring them to you to toss for me. I really want to be adopted with one of my siblings as we are the best playmates and I know I will be happiest with their company. I love all my siblings, but I think Staring is my favorite as she likes to play as much as I do. We love to chase each other through the tunnel and try to catch the "birds" that our humans make fly for us. I have been introduced to several people and like them all. I also have met a couple of dogs and they are OK, I am not afraid of them I am just getting to know them better. I would like to meet you to see if you are a good fit for me.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Swift was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Swift’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Swift’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Swift’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
