Forsythia was found in a very small crate with her mom, 1 older sibling and 4 newborn siblings. She was the 5th in the newborn litter. There was no box for mom and the babies were in urine soaked towels, cold and wet. Unfortunately 3 of the newborns passed, leaving Forsythia and her sister with mom and the older sibling.Forsythia has been raised up and is ready to find her forever home. She is a sweet girl that can be shy at first. She adores pets and loves playing with toys. She enjoys playing with her sibling and foster friends. She will need a feline friend at home, whether that is an already established house cat or one that goes home with her. If her and her sister can stay together that would be awesome!Forsythia would do fine with children and other cats. Unsure of dogs as she has not been around any.You can meet Forsythia at Whiskerstation Cat Cafe in Kirkwood.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Forsythia was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Forsythia’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Forsythia’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Forsythia’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
