About this Cat
Joshua and his brother, Tally, came to us from a rural animal control facility. Poor things were just babies when picked up and were terrified of being there, so it took them quite a while to relax and learn to trust humans. They are currently in a foster home that specializes in shy and under-socialized kitties, and the boys have really blossomed there. They have become quite the lap cats and cuddlers with their foster mom and absolutely adore her. However, they will need time and patience when moving to a new home as change is scary for any kitty, but especially ones that are timid like the boys. As such, they require a quiet and calm home without kids and with cat savvy parents who understand kitty behavior and will give them plenty of time to acclimate on their own. They aren't aggressive and don't have a mean bone in their bodies; they just tend to hiss and hide when they are frightened until they know to trust you. They are devoted and loyal kitties and love to be petted and play with toys. Canned food is a big hit and that, combined with playtime, is the way to their hearts. They must be adopted together as they are bonded and have been with one another since the beginning. They like other cats and would probably thrive with having a confident and friendly feline companion to teach them the ropes. Joshua is neutered, chipped, current on vaccinations and negative for FeLV/FIV - tag # 14036JY (DOB 7/7/2023).

Adopt Joshua and Receive Joshua's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Joshua's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Joshua's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Joshua, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Joshua's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Joshua was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Joshua’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Joshua’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Joshua’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
