About this Dog
His first name is Beau, his middle name is Ty. Beau turned 4 on October 21st. I have had Beau since April 11th 2021. I got him from my friend who was a breeder. He is neutered, chipped and UTD on all legally mandated vaccinations. Previous owner said he had a heart murmur but my vet did not even pick up on it until I mentioned it and she listened again and said that it is almost undetectable. Beau is very attached to me. He has a whole personality. He is very excitable. He loves meeting new people. He is a very sweet and playful dog. All he really wants to do is play! He needs someone strong to play tug with him. He was always the one pup who was on his back under the mama playing and growling. He sounds vicious when he plays but don't let it scare you! He knows sit, stay, shake, lay, and leave it. He also goes into his kennel willingly and when told. Beau goes out on a lead because I do not have a fence. Beau deserves a person that is going to make him the center of their world and give him space to run and be free and give him ALL the belly rubs. There have been a couple of instances of him nipping/biting but they were high stress situations and extenuating circumstances and I don't necessarily blame Beau. I would be happy to tell you about those. Beau has extreme situational/seperation anxiety as far as going to the groomer or the pet store but does better outside. We've known each other since he was just a newborn pup. He's happiest when he is getting all the attention and is right on your heel. Beau does well with other dogs at least his size and would love to have a playmate. He has been around my kitty and does well with her but he gets excited and wants to play and doesn't know his own strength. I'm not sure how he does with smaller dogs but he loves to chase rabbits! Beau would probably do best in a home with no small children though he does well around them. Beau is prone to dry skin and dry, itchy ears. He is an extraordinary dog and has found his way back to me twice but I am being evicted now and don't even know where I will be living. I am single and recovering from a tailbone injury as well and he is so strong. He has some quirks that I will be happy to go over with you.

For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.

This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Beau Ty was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Beau Ty ’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Beau Ty ’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Beau Ty ’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
