About this Dog
Background - This little girl with a big smile was an owner surrender. She appears to have a high small prey drive and is not good around small dogs or cats. She was so scared in the shelter that she stayed frozen in the corner and was listed as 'no play style' because she never moved. Fortunately, MOGS was able to work with her and is discovering her playful side!Temperment/Behavioral - This easygoing, social, sweetheart is good with adults, kids, men, and women. She wants nothing more than to be your friend. She is practicing her manners and learning sit, down, and come. She is a soft mouthed, gentle companion.Posie does have an unusual habit regarding water buckets. She seems to be somewhat obsessed with them. She carries water buckets whenever she has the chance. No one is quite sure why or how she developed this behavior. No explaination - it just happens. She carries them with or without water in them. It is her special gifting.Other Animals - Posie likes to maintain her dignity and that involves having no other animal around who might outshine her. Posie would be pretty perfect as is in an only pet home. Children/People - She loves people! They bring the good pets and the toy buckets! Looking for a stunning, young and trainable German Shepherd to love, and be loved by forever? POSIE will be your new BFF! POSIE's ADOPTION FEE: $350 This fee covers only part of what we spend to vet, board and rehab the dogs we save. On average we spend over $450 on each dog. We made a decision to keep our adoption fee at the 2005 level even though vet prices have doubled and tripled since then. We are constantly fundraising to cover the deficit. At minimum, your adoption fee includes the dog's spay/neuter, heartworm test, heartworm treatment if needed, rabies shot, distemper/parvo shot, bordatella shot, deworming, monthly heartworm and flea preventives, and microchip. In many cases it also includes surgery and various types of vet treatment for standard issues such as hot spots, ear infections and so on. INTERESTED IN ADOPTING POSIE? Adopt Posie and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Posie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Posie's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Posie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Posie's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Posie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Posie’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.

We want the Posie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Posie’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
