DOB: 1/21/22 Approx Weight: 13 Lbs Adoption Fee: $275 includes a 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness! Oliver is a retired breeder dad that was released to Furry Kids. He does great with other dogs and would do best in a home with another dog to lead him. He is shy at first with humans but really enjoys being held and pet, however he is not a lap dog. He loves to roam around outside in the back yard, he will need a fence to keep him safe. He is a speedy little guy and can be hard to catch! He is catching on to housebreaking well but kennel training has been tough. It takes him a while to settle in a crate and will shred his bed if left in there all day. At night he sleeps on a dog bed in his fosters room and sometimes on her bed as well. I have been neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, wormed and microchipped. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Oliver was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Oliver’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Oliver’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Oliver’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
