Our big hunk Ramsey is still looking for his forever home. He is a 3yr old 130lb Presa Canario. He has been great with every person he has met. He loves to play tug, chew on benebones and sleep in bed with his people at night. He is potty trained and kennel trained, although once settled in a new home he is fine being left out of his kennel. He currently lives in a foster home with other dogs and does fantastic with them. He will need slow intros being introduced to new dogs. He would do best in a home with no small dogs or cats as he does have a high prey drive. He is quite the goofball, his absolute favorite toy is a metal bowl that he likes to carry around and will push it around with his giant paws like he is playing soccer. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ramsey was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ramsey’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Ramsey’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ramsey’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
