About this Dog
*** Check Out My Video Album Below! *** Ruffin, a laid-back boy with the sweetest soul, is looking for his forever home! This special boy has overcome a difficult past after being found chained to a tree and abandoned, but his gentle spirit remains unbroken. Ruffin would love nothing more than a quiet, loving home where he can be showered with the affection he deserves. Ruffin is house-trained, leash trained, crate trained, and knows “sit,” showing he's ready to be a wonderful house companion. This boy has a medium-length, soft coat that beckons to be pet - and Ruffin is totally on board with that! - He’s an affectionate pup and loves to be petted. Two more of his favorite things include treats of cheese and pepperoni! Ruffin gets along wonderfully with other dogs, particularly smaller ones, and is very friendly when meeting new people. He's had positive interactions with children ages 9 and 11, showing his gentle nature extends to kids as well. With his low activity level, Ruffin is content with leisurely walks and quiet time with his family. He's not a digger and rarely barks, making him an ideal companion for someone seeking a calm, well-mannered dog. This sweet boy just wants to love and be loved! Ruffin's PYRfect home would be a quiet household with people who love to dish out the rubs and share the pepperoni off their pizza! - Written by H.B. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
