About this Dog
Hello, my name is Thunder Chap, but my foster mom calls me “Chappie.” She says I’m just a delightful little Chap! I am a one-year-old hairy hairless Chinese Crested male and I weigh approximately 13 pounds. I am heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations, and neutered! I’m ready to find my family! I am the sweetest little guy. If you’ve ever had Cresteds before, you know they are a little timid at first but cling to their person once bonded. Also, if you are unfamiliar with hairy hairless, there’s lots of possibilities with their coat! Usually, we are shaved in the summer to look like the hairless pictures you typically see of Chinese Cresteds. And in the winter, usually owners let the hair grow out for warmth. Google has lots of before and after pictures so you can see! My foster mom left my coat long so my new family could decide. But please know some grooming will be required as my hair will grow long and will also grow over my face. I am a little timid in new situations so I will need a yard for my safety. Until I get to know you, I might spook and try to run. Or if you have company over, I might get a little nervous. I walk well on a leash and like to hop around on your legs if we aren’t going fast enough or I just need to remind you that I love you! I am working on my house training, but please know, I am not fully house trained yet. I will need someone who is able to work with me on this and set a schedule so I turn into the best dog I can be! I am crate trained and I don’t have any accidents in my crate. I prefer to be out with people and sometimes will make a couple adorable howls to let you know how I feel. I do settle down and take a nap in the crate though. It doesn’t stress me at all. I am good with other dogs although large dogs kind of scare me. But my foster brother is big and I have grown to love him. It’s unsure how I am with cats or children, but both can be tested before adoption if needed. My foster mom thinks I’ll be fine with both. I’m a very happy gentle guy. I do well in the car and would love to take adventures with you! Really anywhere you are, I would love to be! I’m just a happy Chappie! Adopt Thunder Chap and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Thunder Chap's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Thunder Chap's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Thunder Chap, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Thunder Chap's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Thunder Chap was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Thunder Chap’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."

We want the Thunder Chap’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Thunder Chap’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
