About this Cat
Frank is a 1yo male cat that was living in the bluffs behind my previous home. He has a tragically sad back story. He showed up on my doorstep one day after being attacked by a wild animal. I took him to the vet and got him all taken care of. He’s all healed up now. I started letting him come in the home after that. He’s fully litter box trained, playful, loves to be your shadow and sleep with you. I have been looking for a home for him for about 4 months now. Due to my schedule I’m only home 2 weeks a month and it’s not fair to him. He’s been living under my deck ever since. One day he got out of the fence. Someone in the neighborhood caught him and relocated him and wouldn’t tell me where. The next morning I ended getting notified from a local shelter they found him a foster family but it was too late. I was devastated. Due to hard work of family and friends and searching he was found, relocated to a different state. Now Frank is living in my garage waiting for a new home. This young man has been through one horrible journey and all he wants it to be loved and fed. My heart breaks for this young man. Please note he cannot live in a home with other animals as he had been wild his whole life. He’s extremely friendly with people and kids. Frank has now been neutered.

How will Frank receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Frank, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Frank's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Frank was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Frank’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Frank’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Frank’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
