About this Dog
9 months old. Floyd is a very sweet and intelligent boy who’s looking for a bit more space and structure in his life. He thrives when he has room to run or a job to do—it really brings out the best in him. He's still learning some manners. He’s also been known to counter surf and chew things left lying around, so he needs someone who can guide him with consistent training. The good news is, Floyd is incredibly smart and learns quickly, especially with someone who has the time and patience to work with him. He’s up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, heartworm negative, potty trained. He’s crate trained, settles in well at night or when left alone (especially for a treat!), and doesn’t need to go out during the night when kenneled. Floyd self-feeds, meaning he’s not food-obsessed—you can leave food out, and he’ll eat when he’s hungry. He would be a wonderful companion for someone with a big yard, an active lifestyle, or even a hobby farm He has been with our other two older dogs (goldendoodle/poodle the last 8 months and does well, he has a lot of energy and likes to wrestle/play with them. He has not been around any cats yet.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Floyd was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Floyd’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Floyd’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Floyd’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
