About this Dog
Eddie is a 1-year-old Black Lab who is sweet, strong, and incredibly loyal—he’ll stick by your side like it’s his full-time job. Weighing in at around 50 pounds, he still has a bit of growing to do and could use a few extra pounds to fill out his frame. Eddie loves standing on his hind legs to watch the world through the window or gently grabbing your hand with his paw just to keep you close. He loves chew toys, tug-of-war, and most of all, your attention. He usually has at least two walks a day and some active play like tug-of-war or zoomies around the yard. His leash manners are still a work in progress, so his future family should give some extra training to help guide him. This young pup is house-trained (minus a couple of accidents) and crate-trained. He does well in his crate for extended periods, settling in after a few minutes. He would prefer a home where someone is around often. Loud noises and unfamiliar people can spook him, but with patience and routine, he’s learning to feel more confident. Eddie is not able to live in a home with other dogs because he becomes very overstimulated when he sees them. He hasn’t lived with cats or children.Eddie is looking for a home to grow up in and give love in return! Are you ready for Eddie? If you are interested in this dog, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $450. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.

Adopt Eddie and Receive Eddie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Eddie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Eddie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Eddie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Eddie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Eddie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Eddie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Eddie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Eddie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
