About this Dog
Delilah is a 3.5–4-month-old female Pit Bull puppy with sleek dark brown fur and sweet white spots. Shy at first, Delilah warms up quickly and transforms into a playful, spirited pup who’s full of energy and curiosity.Deliliah adjusted well to her new foster home, showing nervousness her first day but settled in quickly after that. Once she's comforatble, this little firecracker lives for toys that squeak and loves bouncing all over the room with excitement. She’s also a big fan of wrestling with her sister, Daphne, and soaking up scratches from her humans. Delilah is crate-trained, sleeping through the night peacefully, and while she’s still working on house-training (she’s a baby, after all), she’s learning fast in a loving foster environment. Her leash skills are a work in progress, and while she might not require a fenced yard immediately, one could be beneficial as she grows into a high-energy adult.Delilah has been fostered with her sister since intake, so she might need a little extra support when she eventually transitions to life without her built-in playmate. She’s had limited exposure to other dogs, kids, and cats — but hasn’t shown any signs of fear or aggression. If you're looking for a playful, affectionate pup with a silly streak and lots of potential, Delilah is ready to bounce her way into your heart! If you are interested in Delilah, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $550. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.

Adopt Delilah and Receive Delilah's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Delilah's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Delilah's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Delilah, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Delilah's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Delilah was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Delilah’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Delilah’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Delilah’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
