Hi! My name is Dahlia, but I also have many fun nicknames - Dolly, Dolly Dingo, and Dolly Doobers!I’m a 6-year-old adorable lady who loves to give kisses! I may weigh 67-pounds but I consider myself a lap dog! I just love my people!It's probable that I had a lot of puppies in my past. I was picked up by animal control and stayed in the shelter for a month before going to a Pet Haven foster home where I could thrive. Due to my past, I'm a bit timid at first but I warm up quickly with a gentle approach!I know how to sit at food time and do well in a crate for the most part! Because of my size and playful nature, I would do best in a home with older kids. I love human kids but I want to be your one and only fur-child!I'm a very, very sweet lover girl who just wants to be your favorite companion and best buddy! However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Dahlia was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Dahlia’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Dahlia’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Dahlia’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
