About this Cat
Hi, my name is Tasha. I’m approximately 7 years old. In November 2024, a concerned human posted me as a sick and injured kitty left at an abandoned house in North Minneapolis and I was tagged on a Lost/Found kitty site. Three nice ladies who I had never met came to my rescue, and found that the house was not abandoned and that I lived at this house with five of my babies, ranging in age from 8 months to 4 years old. These ladies, seeing our living conditions, went into action and were able to get my previous owner to surrender us into the care of my current foster.I had never been to a vet before. I was sick and injured from living in an unhealthy environment that was filled with filth, drugs, strangers coming and going, poking, and kicking at me. I have also had multiple litters and am happy that those days are behind me. My recovery was slow, and it was months before I started to gain the trust of my caregivers. My once-yellow fur is finally starting to turn snow white after years of poor nutrition. Over time, I have started to trust and love people again. I enjoy playing and am discovering the joys of positive human interaction. My foster would love to keep me, but alas there are more kitties in her future to save.I’m attaching a few pictures of me with my babies. It's important that you know my past and what a strong lady I am to have endured my previous life, but I also want you to see how beautiful my babies are.I have a big heart and still believe that I can find my forever home. Let me know if you would like to meet me and we can go from there. Love, TashaInterested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Adopt Tasha and Receive Tasha's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Tasha's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Tasha's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Tasha, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Tasha's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tasha was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tasha’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tasha’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tasha’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
