About this Cat
Misty is a beautiful gray tabby with big, curious eyes and an even bigger heart. Still barely more than a kitten herself at 14 months old, Misty was living on the streets when she found herself pregnant. Despite her rough start, she’s been a devoted, loving mama to her three babies who have all been adopted. Now it’s her turn to be cared for and cherished. This beautiful girl is incredibly affectionate with people and seeks a deep connection with them. She adores getting pets, seeks out attention, and has a calm, soulful presence that makes her feel like an old friend. But don’t let her gentle nature fool you—she also has a playful streak, which came out in full force when she romped around with her kittens.Misty also has perfect litterbox habits and is a delightful companion who will greet you with sweet kisses when you come home and purr as you stroke her fur.Misty would do great as an only cat or with slow introductions to another gentle cat in her forever home. However, likely due to a bad experience while a stray, she is adamantly opposed to having a dog around and will proactively attack them. So, no dogs please for sweet Misty. If you’re looking for a loving, people-oriented cat who’s outgrown the chaos of kittenhood but still enjoys playtime, Misty is the perfect companion. She’s ready to trade her street survival days for sunny windowsills, cozy laps, and a family to call her own. If you’re ready to meet your next soulmate, please consider adding the amazing and gentle Misty to your home and your heart.----Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Adopt Misty and Receive Misty's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Misty's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Misty's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Misty, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Misty's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Misty was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Misty’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Misty’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Misty’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
