Nana and Princess are two charming, affectionate 1-year-old pirate cats who are looking for their forever port to call home. Nana is a brave buccaneer who lost one eye lost in The Battle of Eye Infection, which tragically plagues so many in the world of cat rescue. Princess has a beautiful, rumbling purr to draw in unsuspecting humans so she can slay their hearts with adoration. She also has one eye which struggles with a viral condition but is fully functional. Together, they are a perfect privateer pair of renegade sweethearts! These loving swashbucklers enjoy getting pets, playing with toys, and lounging. They have a medium energy level and would thrive in a clean, quiet home with low activity due to their FIV+ status. Nana and Princess are both FIV+, but that doesn’t mean they can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. It is not transmissible to humans or to dogs. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Princess / Nana Pudding was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Princess / Nana Pudding’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Princess / Nana Pudding’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Princess / Nana Pudding’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
