About this Dog
Our sweet Betty unfortunately needs to be re-homed. She is an almost 2 year old Eskipoo that our family has had since she was a puppy. We took her home from a breeder in Iowa. Our home has three children, 9, 7 and 3 and Betty is so sweet to them as well as my Wife and I. Betty is kennel trained, potty trained and all her vaccinations are up to date. She has also been spayed. Despite our best efforts with socialization and reactivity training she continues to lunge and in some cases nip/bite strangers. Recently she nipped three different contractors who were in our home doing some work. My worst fear is that she will eventually bite one of our children or their friends. We want to avoid the worst by finding her a home that would better suit her needs and want what is best for Betty.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Betty was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Betty’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Betty’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Betty’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
