About this Cat

This is one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. I have been struggling to keep them for almost a year now. After a lot of thinking and with a very heavy heart, I’ve come to the conclusion that I need to rehome/surrender my two babies. They have been my companions through so much, bringing comfort, love, and laughter into my life for the past 6 years. But due to personal and financial challenges, I can no longer give them the life they deserve. My older brother just moved back in with us & My sister, brother in law and nieces recently moved in with us too. My younger brother always have allergies to cats but his reaction isn’t as bad as my sister’s and older brother. This causes my mom to pressure me to rehome/surrender my cats even more. As it is her house I cannot be selfish to her and to my cats. They deserve a place where they can roam freely with people who loves them. Right now they are mostly stuck in my room and I can see that it is affecting them negatively. I’ve been trying my best for a year now to continue to keep them but everything is just a dead end for me. They are sweet, affectionate, full of personality, and they deserve a home where they’ll be cherished and well cared for. This decision is made purely out of love for them, and my hope is to find a new home where they’ll be just as loved—if not more—than they have been with me.

Adopt Kitty and Receive Kitty's Fund

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kitty's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

How will Kitty receive the contribution?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Kitty, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Kitty's contribution here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kitty was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kitty’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Kitty’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kitty’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
