About this Dog
Meet Bobbi Jo, a 7-year-old bundle of pure love, big feelings, and even bigger kisses. She may be out of the shelter now, but after two months cooped up, this girl is bursting with excitement for life—and it shows! Let’s get the honest stuff out of the way: Bobbi Jo definitely needs some work on the leash. She’s so thrilled to be out and about, she’ll take you for a bit of a ride (arm included). She gets easily distracted by dogs and people—not because she’s reactive, but because she wants to meet everyone. And don’t even get her started on car rides. She’s a drooly, whiny mess back there. Sorry. It’s just not her thing. But here’s what makes Bobbi Jo amazing: She’s never met a dog she didn’t like. She might sound scary when she barks or plays (she’s got a big voice!), but truly—she wouldn’t hurt a fly. Underneath the noise is the kindest, goofiest soul you’ll ever meet. One look into her big brown eyes and you’ll understand—this girl knows how to love. Bobbi Jo thinks she’s a lap dog and has zero sense of personal space. Her absolute favorite thing in the world? Giving big, wet, all-tongue kisses. She’ll sleep anywhere you are—bed, floor, couch—as long as she’s near her person. She loves belly rubs, dancing around the house with her foster family, and being the center of attention. She’s not much into toys, but she does enjoy a good bone. And if you’re lucky, you’ll get to see her do her signature “happy feet” dance—where she lifts her legs high, sways side to side, and stomps around with pure joy. Cue the music and shout: “Break it down, Bobbi!!” Bobbi Jo may be a little rough around the edges, but her heart? 100% gold. Bobbi Jo is an umclaimed stray from a local impound. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.

Adopt Bobbi Jo and Receive Bobbi Jo's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bobbi Jo's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Bobbi Jo's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Bobbi Jo, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Bobbi Jo's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bobbi Jo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bobbi Jo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bobbi Jo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bobbi Jo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
