Meet Willow! Willow is a loving and loyal companion who, once she picks her person, becomes your little shadow. She adores snuggling and always wants to be close—touch is her love language! This smart girl has already figured out the morning routine: potty, a drink of water, and then it’s straight to her favorite soft blanket on the bed for a cozy nap until you return (like in this adorable video!). She’s independent when she needs to be, but always excited to be near her people. Willow is also a great travel buddy—she enjoys car rides, watching the world go by out the window before curling up for a snooze. She walks nicely on leash most of the time, though she can’t resist the temptation to chase when something catches her eye. With a bit of continued training and consistency, she’ll be a great walking partner. Willow can do well with other dogs for a short while, but is best to go to a home where she is the only dog. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Willow Mina was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Willow Mina’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Willow Mina’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Willow Mina’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
