*This animal will be attending our Summer of Love Adoption Event at the Mall of America on Sunday, August 10th, from 11am–3pm. If you're interested in adopting, you must attend the event in person and be prepared to take the animal home that same day. Adoptions will be handled on-site using paper applications only—please do not submit an online application prior to the event. Adoption decisions are made at the discretion of our staff and fosters. If this animal is not adopted at the event, they may become available through our standard adoption process afterward. Animal availability is subject to change at any time.* RJaye is an adorable, energetic pup who's learning all the ropes of being a great companion! At just 4 months old, he’s bursting with typical puppy curiosity, playfulness, and affection. This playful boy loves romping around with the other dogs in his foster home. His play style can be a little loud at times, but he’s great at reading other dogs' cues when it’s time to wind down. Squeaky toys and chew bones are his jam, and after he’s burned off some of that puppy energy, RJaye is all about snuggle time—especially if it means curling up in your lap. Because he’s still young, RJaye is working on learning what’s okay to chew or explore, so puppy-proofing and supervision are a must. He’s doing very well with crate training—he settles quickly and is usually quiet in his kennel. Potty training is going great, and he’s so close to being fully housebroken! A consistent schedule will help him finish mastering it. And we can’t forget those ears—still deciding if they want to stand up or stay floppy, but they’re 100% adorable no matter what. RJaye is looking for a family who can match his energy, provide structure, and shower him with love as he continues to grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. Could that be you? For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and RJaye was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, RJaye’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the RJaye’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, RJaye’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
