Hi, my name is Sprout! I am a goofy boy! I love toys, getting zoomies around the yard, playing in water, and taking naps on the couch. I really enjoy hanging out with my humans! Walks are great but I also really like running. I would make a great running companion! I really like other dogs but can sometimes come on a little strong (I just want to be friends!). If there is another dog in the home, it would be best if the dog matches my energy or is a forgiving, patient dog who can help me learn. While having another dog around would be fun, I do need to find a home with no cats or small animals. I would thrive with an active family that can provide me with plenty of exercise. Having a family who is willing to teach me new things and will be patient while I learn is very important. My foster parents say that I am a great dog and will make a wonderful addition to a loving, active family. Sprout is from a local shelter. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sprout was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sprout’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sprout’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sprout’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
