About this Dog
Ivy Marie is a gentle, affectionate girl with a quiet spirit and a heart full of love. She came into foster care shy and unsure, but with a little time and patience, she’s truly blossomed. Her playful side has started to shine through, and now she enjoys toys, yard time, and soaking up all the love her foster family has to offer. She especially loves being pet, cuddled up in blankets, or curled beside you on the couch. Ivy is mostly house trained—she’s kept her crate clean and dry and is making great progress with her indoor routine. She’s low-energy, rarely barks, and gets along well with other dogs. She hasn’t been around young children or seniors yet, but she’s done great with teens and adults. New environments and loud noises can still make her a little nervous, so she’ll do best in a calm, nurturing home with someone who can offer steady reassurance. She’s learning her name and basic commands, and she adapts quickly once she knows she’s safe. Ivy is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds—quiet, loyal, and full of quiet joy. She’s ready for a home where she can continue to grow, explore, and be loved for exactly who she is. Ivy Marie is from Texas. This pet is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm disease and is available through our Foster-to-Adopt (FTA) program. Activity must be restricted for several weeks during recovery. RSR will cover the full cost of treatment. RSR will provide heartworm preventatives until the retest is due. The adopter will be responsible for scheduling the retest and obtaining any follow-up prescriptions through their veterinarian. Click Here to learn more about heartworm disease. Adopt Ivy Marie and Receive Ivy Marie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ivy Marie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Ivy Marie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Ivy Marie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Ivy Marie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ivy Marie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ivy Marie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Ivy Marie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ivy Marie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
