Meet Luna Selene, or just Luna – a high-energy goofball with a heart full of love and a nose for squeaky toys! This playful girl is all about having fun, whether she's romping around with other dogs or squeaking her favorite toys like it's a full-time job. She's also a total lovebug who adores pets, playtime, and any chance to make you smile. While her foster works from home, Luna is the ultimate office assistant – snoozing quietly by the desk all day and only popping up when it’s time for lunch or to clock out. She's been totally chill staying in the office while her foster is away, and even though she was reportedly crate trained, she’s been perfectly well-behaved without one. Luna walks well on leash and is non-reactive to people or dogs on walks – she just trots along, soaking up the sights and sounds. She's not 100% leash trained yet, but she’s close and eager to learn. House training is still a work in progress – she’s had a few accidents, but is improving with a regular schedule and lots of encouragement. She’s also been known to bark at mysterious backyard noises and dig a “cool-down” hole or two, but hey, what’s a little dirt between friends? With a bit of training, she’ll be polished up in no time. Sweet, silly, and endlessly enthusiastic, Luna is a lovable burst of energy ready to bring joy and giggles to her forever home! Luna is from an Owner Surrender. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Luna Selene was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Luna Selene’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Luna Selene’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Luna Selene’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
