About this Dog
Meet Cade – wrongfully accused, eternally adored. Cade’s story began with a scandal: picked up as a stray and allegedly involved in the deflation of a neighbor’s Christmas inflatables. No evidence was ever found, but the legend lives on—and so does Cade’s charm. This goofy guy is all about the simple pleasures in life: basking in the sun, gnawing on a good bone, and lounging like royalty on the lumpiest pillow in the house. He’s a bit of a mystery at first—shy, cautious, and not quick to trust. But give him some time, a few treats (watch your fingers—he’s very food motivated), and a little patience, and you’ll uncover a loyal, affectionate companion who is 100% all in once he’s chosen you as his person. Cade is crate trained, rides like a pro in the car, and has a moderate energy level with spurts of morning zoomies and evening walk excitement. He can pull on the leash and is a door-dasher in training, so keep those doors secure! He’s also a bit of a marker when first settling in, so a belly band can help smooth the transition. He gets along great with other dogs but is absolutely not a fan of cats—he’s got a strong prey drive and isn’t shy about it. He’s not super into toys but adores playing with his canine sister. And in true cat-like fashion, he’ll balance along the back of the sofa just to peek out the window and observe the world. Bonus points: he’s missing a middle tooth, giving him a permanently silly grin that’s hard not to love. Cade may not be the life of the party right away, but once he lets you in, you’ll have a sunshine-loving, goofy little shadow for life. Cade is from Texas. Adopt Cade and Receive Cade's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Cade's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Cade's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Cade, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Cade's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cade was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cade’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cade’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cade’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
