*This animal is a part of our “Seniors for Seniors” program where we offer senior adopters an opportunity to adopt an eligible pet at a discounted fee.* My foster mom says I am the best lady ever!! I love my humans and want to be right with them and cuddle on the couch. I do great with other dogs and even at my age I like to play for run around the yard. I would love someone that loves to take walks so I can see new things. I just want to be loved and have my humans around. I am a really good girl-I am totally potty trained and don't get into any trouble. I will kennel if you want me to but I don’t think I need it because I listen really well. Just give me a comfy sleeping place and I would be happy. I’m just such an good girl that would love to have my own family. Adopting a senior dog is like getting a vintage car – it comes with character, a few extra quirks, and might need a bit more maintenance. Expect occasional tune ups at the vet for oil changes (aka meds), and embrace the fact that those 'normal lumps and bumps' are just part of the well-earned charm package! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Coco was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Coco’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Coco’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Coco’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
