About this Dog
Meet Kerry, the sweetest little Chihuahua with the most adorable underbite that will melt your heart! Kerry is an affectionate girl who loves nothing more than being in your lap, soaking up all the love and attention she can get. She’s playful at times, but mostly, she’s all about cuddling and enjoying quiet moments with her favorite humans. Kerry can be a little shy and hesitant when meeting new people, but once she gets to know you, she warms up quickly and becomes your best friend. She’s also a wonderful nighttime snuggler and loves curling up with you for a peaceful night of sleep. Kerry is an intelligent girl, always eager to please, and she’s quick to learn and adapt to her surroundings. Please note she is extremely fearful of men and will growl if they come too close. This fear response has been consistent with all males she’s encountered. While she is cautious around all new people, she warms up more easily to women, often approaching them on her own and accepting treats once she feels a little more comfortable. This sweet mama dog came to us with one puppy, and she was the most devoted mom. She took amazing care of her little one, and now she’s ready to find a home where she can enjoy all the love and pampering she deserves. Kerry may be a bit shy at first, but with patience and love, she will become a loyal, affectionate member of your family. If you're looking for a sweet, intelligent, and cuddly gal, Kerry is waiting to steal your heart! Kerry is from Texas. This pet is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm disease and is available through our Foster-to-Adopt (FTA) program. Activity must be restricted for several weeks during recovery. RSR will cover the full cost of treatment. RSR will provide heartworm preventatives until the retest is due. The adopter will be responsible for scheduling the retest and obtaining any follow-up prescriptions through their veterinarian. Click Here to learn more about heartworm disease. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Adopt Kerry and Receive Kerry's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kerry's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Kerry's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Kerry, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Kerry's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kerry was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kerry’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Kerry’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kerry’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
