Megara is a loving, high-energy girl who’s ready to make up for lost time with a family that will give her the life she deserves. After spending her first year in a hoarding situation without proper care, she’s now thriving in a foster home and discovering just how wonderful life can be! She’s incredibly affectionate and loves to snuggle, often burying her head in your lap or curling up under a blanket. But when she’s not cuddling? She’s a ball of playful energy! Watching her race around the yard in full zoomie mode is pretty amazing. She’s still learning some of the basics — like how to chew on bones — but she’s curious, eager, and happy to learn with someone patient and consistent. Megara would do best in a home with: An active lifestyle (she’d make a great hiking or running partner!) Another dog her size or larger who enjoys playing (small dogs aren't the best match for her play style) A family or person ready to give her structure, love, and lots of belly rubs Megara has a resilient spirit and a heart full of love. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Megara was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Megara’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Megara’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Megara’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
