About this Cat
Meet Beatrice – Tiny, Spicy, and Worth the Wait ️ Looking for a kitten with a little attitude and a lot of potential? Allow us to introduce Beatrice – a 10-week-old floof with a fierce hiss, a dramatic flair, and a heart that’s slowly thawing. Dropped off at our rescue with a fierce hiss and some serious swatting skills, Beatrice made it very clear she was not here for your nonsense. But don't worry – beneath that spicy shell is a curious, playful kitten just waiting to fully blossom with the right patient human. She’s currently in foster care learning the art of the burrito wrap (we call it a “purrito”), slow blinks, and the subtle joys of chin scratches. Beatrice still hisses to keep up appearances – we suspect it’s in her contract – but she no longer swats. Progress, people! When she’s with her sisters, she’s a whole new kitten: zoomies, playful pounces, and all the adorable kitten energy you'd expect. With a little time and TLC, we’re confident Beatrice will learn that humans are pretty great too (especially the ones with snacks). Ideal Home: Patient humans with a good sense of humor A feline friend or two to show her the ropes A willingness to work for your cuddles – this love must be earned! If you're ready to turn the heat up just a little and help this tiny firecracker become the loving cat she’s meant to be, apply to adopt Beatrice today. ️ I just joined my foster family and we are still getting acquainted with one another. Once they learn more about me, they will add more information here! Beatrice was found as a stray. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals. Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.

Adopt Beatrice and Receive Beatrice's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Beatrice's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Beatrice's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Beatrice, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Beatrice's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Beatrice was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Beatrice’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Beatrice’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Beatrice’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
