About this Cat
Meet Frieren, a captivating kitten seeking a special friend! This gorgeous grey tabby arrived from an outdoor colony, and she's gracefully learning to embrace the joys of indoor living – and discovering just how wonderful cuddles can be. Frieren thrives with a human who understands her need for personal space, but don't let her independent spirit fool you! When the mood strikes, she's absolutely up for playful antics. While she's still exploring the concept of full-on snuggles, she'll reward gentle ear scratches with soft purrs when you hold her. If you're ready to invest time and patience, Frieren will unveil her best self: hilarious play sessions and endless laughs as she embarks on intrepid explorations of your home. You'll often find her curiously inspecting shoes, even dropping her favorite toys inside! She's the lighter of two nearly identical grey tabby sisters (her twin is Fern), with delicate features that set her apart. And there's one sound guaranteed to make her come running: the opening of a wet food can! Are you ready to unlock the many rewards of this unique and charming girl? Frieren is from a community cat colony. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals. Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.

Adopt Frieren and Receive Frieren's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Frieren's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Frieren's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Frieren, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Frieren's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Frieren was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Frieren’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Frieren’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Frieren’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
