Stella Rose is a sweet and soulful gray tabby with a gentle heart and curious spirit. At 3 years old, she’s the perfect blend of youthful energy and calm companionship. She came to us after her human had to move and couldn’t take her along—through no fault of her own. Stella was a bit shy at first, but she quickly blossomed into an affectionate, playful, and curious girl. Once she feels safe, she seeks out attention and enjoys being close to her person. She’s the perfect mix of independent and loving—content doing her own thing but also eager to soak up affection. She thrives as the center of attention and would likely do best as an only kitty. Stella is happy on her own during the day but adores having her person nearby. She’s been friendly with adults of all kinds—both men and women—and has done well with respectful dogs. When it comes to other cats, Stella is still figuring things out. She’s curious about her feline neighbors but prefers they respect her space. A bit of hissing is her polite way of saying, “not too close just yet.” Slow, respectful introductions are key. Stella enjoys interactive play, especially with fishing pole toys and fuzzy balls. Her playstyle is mellow—she tends to tire quickly—but she delights in short, engaging sessions. Her favorite pastimes include lounging on a cat tree, hanging out on the recliner, curling up by your knees or feet at night, and watching people pass by from the balcony. She’s been eating kibble and especially enjoys meaty wet food as a treat. She’s used pellet litter in the past. Occasionally, Stella gives gentle love nibbles while cuddling—nothing that breaks the skin—so a home without young children would be best. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Stella Rose was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Stella Rose’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Stella Rose’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Stella Rose’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
