About this Cat
Meet Buddy Boy! He's a sweet, curious cat who loves to play. When he's out of energy, you can usually find him napping close by. He behaves well when left home alone but prefers to have company. He's a great work from home companion and will often lay at your feet or on your lap. He likes to be part of the action and will speak his mind if he can't be where the rest of the family is hanging out. Buddy Boy would do best in a home with playmates to keep him busy and who enjoy cuddling as much as he does! He gets along well with all ages and can be selective with his cat friends. He has not been observed around dogs, but he is generally outgoing and friendly, so there's a good chance he'd do well after a proper introduction. If Buddy Boy sounds like a good addition to your home, he'd love to meet you! Buddy Boy is from an owner surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.

Adopt Buddy Boy and Receive Buddy Boy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Buddy Boy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Buddy Boy's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Buddy Boy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Buddy Boy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Buddy Boy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Buddy Boy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Buddy Boy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Buddy Boy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
