Squash is the sweetest little ball of sunshine! With his bright orange fur and big, curious eyes, he’s always ready for an adventure, whether it's exploring every nook and cranny of the house or daydreaming looking at the mysterious world through the window. Squash is a sweet curious boy who just wants to give love and be loved. He loves exploring, and as curious as he is, he doesn't get into anything he isn't suppose to. He is good at finding cozy spots to take a naps like a chair or under the bed. Squash is not just adorable, he’s also the most loving companion. He adores cuddles but only for 2 minutes, then he jumps off for belly rubs. His gentle purrs can turn any bad day into a good one and his playful yet knows how to entertain himself with his toys. Squash’s heart is as big as his personality. Whether he's chasing a toy, basking in a sunbeam, or rubbing against your legs for attention. Squash has mild asthma, which is easily managed with his inhaler. Don’t worry—it’s not as intense as it sounds! His inhaler is administered with a special mask designed for cats, and it only takes a few seconds each time. He’s used to it and does great with his routine. In fact, he’s incredibly calm about it, especially when he knows treats or cuddles are coming afterward! Giving Squash his inhaler is simple, and it helps him breathe easy and stay healthy. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Squash was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Squash’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Squash’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Squash’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
