About this Cat
Paddywhack (aka Paddy) is a gorgeous brown tabby with striking wildcat-like stripes and a mysterious, independent charm to match. She may not be the cuddliest cat you'll ever meet, but she will be one of the most interesting. Once a shy, hidden-away observer, Paddy has come a long way. These days, she spends her time calmly lounging near her humans—often just a few feet away on the cat tree in her foster mom’s office—and confidently navigating a household full of dogs, cats, and activity. She’s unfazed by canine sniffers, enjoys the company of other cats, and doesn’t mind being in the mix of daily life. While she still doesn’t welcome pets or being picked up, she’s curious, present, and clearly trusts the people around her. On rare occasions, she’ll even allow a gentle pet—but always on her terms. Paddy has a soft side, too. You might catch her meowing when she’s looking for Big Daddy, her best friend and lifelong companion. They’re not glued at the hip, but their bond runs deep—Paddy gains comfort from his presence, and he gently bridges the gap between her cautious nature and the human world. This pair is wonderfully low-maintenance. Aside from their twice-daily mealtime meows (wet food is a must), they’re content to quietly coexist with their people and animal friends. If you admire cats for who they are—not for who you expect them to be—Paddywhack and Big Daddy might be the perfect duo for you. They offer peace, personality, and a quiet kind of companionship that only gets better with time. Learn more about Big Daddy here and check out this video to see Paddy’s play! Paddywhack is from a local impound. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. Adopt Paddywhack and Receive Paddywhack's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Paddywhack's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Paddywhack's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Paddywhack, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Paddywhack's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Paddywhack was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Paddywhack’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Paddywhack’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Paddywhack’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
