Big Daddy is a handsome tuxedo gentleman with a gentle soul, a playful streak, and a strong appreciation for food, freedom, and quiet companionship. He’s the more outgoing half of his bonded duo, happily accepting head scritches, lounging nearby, and occasionally curling up in your lap when he’s in the mood for some extra affection. While he's laid-back, Big Daddy fits right in even when life gets a little chaotic—he’s content to nap through it all. Most days, he and his best friend Paddywhack can be found perched on the cat tree in their foster mom’s office, just a few feet away from her desk, quietly supervising her day and ensuring she gets her work done. Big Daddy isn't high maintenance. Aside from a few enthusiastic meows in the morning and evening for his wet food (his favorite part of the day), he's pretty quiet. He’ll reward your meal prep with happy chirps and plenty of purring gratitude. Like Paddywhack, Big Daddy is great with other cats and dogs, making him a perfect addition to a multi-pet household. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Big Daddy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Big Daddy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Big Daddy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Big Daddy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
