About this Cat
Oreo is a dashing lad who loves to be near folks and gives kisses to his human. While he loves to find a warm lap and blanket to cuddle up for a nap, he also gets bursts of energy and loves to play. Oreo gets along with other cats. He does get overstimulated at times and would do best in a home with older considerate kids that can read his cues and give him space when needed. He is very food motivated, and may try to grab some human food snacks if he's free roaming during his foster dad's meal time. He is a gorgeous cat with the most beautiful tuxedo markings! Such a handsome guy! Is he the perfect match for you? One big thing about me you should know is that I have Feline Immunodeficiency Virus but please don’t let that scare you away from adopting me! Click here to learn more about Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. Oreo is from a stray surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.

Adopt Oreo and Receive Oreo's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Oreo's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Oreo's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Oreo, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Oreo's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Oreo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Oreo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Oreo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Oreo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
