About this Cat
Hi there! My name is Kricket. I’m a super affectionate and sweet girl. My absolute favorite thing to do is make biscuits on your lap. I just love attention! I also love to run around and play. I like to spend my day cuddling, watching out the window, and napping. I have the best personality and I’m looking for someone to spend the rest of my life with. One thing you should know about me is that I have been diagnosed with Feline Calicivirus. This is a viral disease common in large unvaccinated groups of cats. Calicivirus affects a cat's immune system and can cause upper respiratory infections and oral infections. Due to this, I will need to be adopted into a home without other kitties. Click here to learn more about Feline Calicivirus If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.

Adopt Kricket and Receive Kricket's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kricket's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Kricket's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Kricket, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Kricket's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kricket was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kricket’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Kricket’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kricket’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
