About this Dog
Kane and his brother Boris came to Minnesota from Missouri. Kane is a spry senior boy and has the typical boxer happy wiggle. Kane is not an outside explorer, content to sit and see what is going on and is always close by to foster mom. Kane has no interest in toys, quick to do his business outside and has no issues with a kennel. Kane understands “let’s go for a ride” patiently waits for the door to open and a good car companion. Kane follows foster mom all over the house and does not mind helping with housekeeping duties. Sometimes he does not understand why foster mom goes from room to room and in circles, he sighs and says oh well my job is to be next to foster mom at all times. Kane is foster moms walking companion, weather permitting as heat is not our friend. Kane gets excited around humans but soon settles. He enjoys sleeping on the couch while foster mom watches TV. It took Kane several months to accept and tolerate the two resident house cats. Once in a while he still thinks the time is right to chase but the chase is short lived. Kane was sleeping on a dog bed with brother Boris, then one night he jumped on foster moms bed and now he has a human bed partner. Foster mom sure enjoys having Kane around as he brings comfort and affection, truly appreciate his presence and company. Kane makes foster mom so grateful and happy to be caring for him. Great to wake up with Kane staring in my face and the butt wiggle.

Adopt Kane and Receive Kane's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kane's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Kane's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Kane, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Kane's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kane was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kane’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Kane’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kane’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
