**Hi there, I’m Tootsie!** I’m about 9 months old and they say I’m a terrier/pug mix — whatever that means, I just know I’m full of love, cuddles, and cuteness! I’m currently staying with a super nice foster family while I wait for my forever people to find me. I’ve met lots of other dogs and I love every single one of them — playing and snuggling are two of my favorite things. I’m also great with kids, and I’m told I have *very* good manners! During the day, I’m a total angel when my foster mom and dad are at work. If you keep me on a schedule, I won’t have any accidents. I promise I’m trying to be the best girl I can be! At night, I sleep in my crate. I might talk about it for a minute, but then I settle right in. I’d also be really happy sleeping next to someone — I’m an excellent little spoon. I’d love a home where I can keep being the happy, snuggly, well-behaved girl I am. If you’re looking for a sweet companion who’s good with dogs, kids, and loves to love — I might be your girl. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Tootsie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tootsie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tootsie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tootsie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tootsie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
