Meet Red, an adorable 8-week-old terrier mix puppy bursting with playful energy and curiosity. Weighing in at just 6–7 pounds, this sweet little guy was born in rescue on May 12 and has been growing up surrounded by love and littermates. Red loves to explore new toys, make new friends, and cuddle up for nap time when the excitement winds down. With his big puppy eyes and even bigger heart, Red is eager to learn, grow, and become a beloved part of a forever family. Red gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and children, making him a great fit for just about any household. He’s been spending time with his siblings in a pen and is doing well, already getting the hang of using potty pads. While he hasn’t started leash or house training yet, he’s still young and ready to learn with a little patience and consistency. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Red was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Red’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Red’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Red’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
