Walker is an 8-month-old sweetheart who’s as well-behaved as they come! Weighing in at just 35 pounds, he’s the perfect medium-sized pup—big enough for adventure, small enough to snuggle without taking over the couch. Walker is about 95% potty trained (just one marking incident so far—he got the message loud and clear!) and did amazing his first night in the kennel without needing a potty break. He’s recently neutered, great with kids, and overall just an easy, low-fuss foster to have around. Originally from Arkansas , Walker is settling in wonderfully and would be an ideal companion for a family or individual looking for a chill, loving pup. He’s ready to be your new best friend! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, dental, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Walker was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Walker’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Walker’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Walker’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
